Construction Superintendant

The Superintendent will oversee the construction of a senior housing project in Abilene, TX. Candidates must live within or be able to relocate within proximity to the construction site.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the construction project within the given budget and time line to deliver a high quality product
  • Developing and maintaining successful relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and employees
  • Directing subcontractors performance and quality
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Maintaining a safe work environment

 

Skills/Requirements:

  • Three or more years of experience as a project superintendent in the construction of senior housing or a combination of experience of commercial high rise and wood frame construction projects
  • Experience working with projects that require following regulated guidelines for meeting licensing standards
  • Ability to communicate with clients, architects, subcontractors, employees, and executives
  • Attention to detail and focus on quality
  • Time and project management skills
  • Intermediate computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Project and Office, in particular Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience working with Sage Timberline, in particular, the Project Management module or other PM software
